A Battle “Wow! This place is beautiful!” Sally said with a big smile on her face. “Yeah! Look at the cherry blossom trees!” Alice smiled. “They are beautiful!” Sarah said. Even Danny himself, begins to admire the beauty that’s right before him. They team has arrived to another city called, “Hana City”. This city is famous for its flowers and festivals. “I guess we are just in time for the flower festivals.” Danny said as he read his book. “Oh can we please take a day off from all that traveling? Please Danny.” The girls begged him. Danny just blushed and said, “I don’t see why we can’t.” The girls went ahead of them to check out the foods and clothes that they have for this festival. “Loser!” Josh muttered to Danny. “Huh? Why?” Danny asked. “Girls are still your biggest weakness.” Josh answered back. “Well how can you resist them? Especially Sarah. I think she is very pretty.” Danny said. “Hey dude, do you think I have a chance with her?” “You?” Josh burst into laughter. “What is so funny?” Danny asked angrily. “Just look at yourself!” Josh said. “What’s wrong with me?” Danny asked. “Never mind!” Josh said. “Hey! where are the girls?” “Huh? They were right in front of us just a minute ago.” Danny answered. Danny and Josh quickly picked up their pace to catch up with the girls. They found the girls in front of a kimono shop. “Ohhh I want to wear one!” Sally said. “I would like to try one on just for the festival.” Alice agreed. The girls went in without the guys. The guys waited outside for them. “Hello girls…” an old woman appeared and smiled at them. She was missing her two front teeth. “Hi!” Sally said. “Goodness me…look how beautiful you girls are.” The old woman said. “I can tell you girls are not from here.” “Yeah we sure are not.” Sally agreed with her. “Now would you each like to pick out a kimono for yourself?” She asked. “Can we?” “Of course! The tradition for this flower festival is that all girls has to wear a kimono.” She said. “But we don’t have that much money.” Sarah reminded everyone. “Well you can borrow them then and return it to me after you girls are done with it.” She smiled. So the girls went to straight to work and each pick out their own kimono. “What is taking them so long?” Danny asked. “Well, they are girls you know.” Josh answered. “They like to take their sweet time.” The girls came out in their brand new kimonos and leaving guys speechless. The girls are beautiful like flowers. “Let’s go and check out the flowers!” Alice said. “But how did girls afford all this?” Josh asked. So Sally told them everything as they made their way to the flowers. The flowers are truly beautiful. There were many kind of flowers but mostly were cherry blossoms. Danny caught some guys checking out Alice Sarah and Sally. “Jerks!” Danny muttered to himself. “Huh?” Sarah asked. “Nothing!” Danny quickly said. “Let’s stop here and have lunch!” Sally said. “Okay!” everyone agreed. By nighttime, fire works took place. Josh decide to do Danny a favor by taking Alice and Sally to see the fire works, and leaving Sarah alone with him. “Its beautiful here!” Sarah smiled at him. “Yeah…” Danny agreed, as he didn’t take his eyes off her. “Hey Sarah. There is something I want to tell you.” “What?” She asked. Danny’s face is now as red as a tomato said, “Well, I think…I think you…look beautiful in that…kimono.” “Thank you.” She smiled at him. Just then, a loud scream took place not far from where they are. Danny and Sarah quickly got up and went to check it out. Alone the way, they met up with the rest of the team. “What do you think happened?” Josh asked. “I don’t know.” Danny answered. When they got there, they found a gang picking on a couple. The guy was on the floor bleeding as he begged them to leave him and his girl alone. The gang leader is a rogue. He took out his dagger and points it to the girl. “Leave them alone!” Danny said. “Huh? What are you going to do kid?” the rogue asked. “Please be careful Dan. A rogue is a second class of thief. They are powerful.” Alice warned Danny. “Rogue class is also known as “the night’s fallen angel”. “This loser owes me money so I have the right to take it out on his girl!” the rogue said. “That’s not true!” the guy cried out. “I paid you back but you guys keep on asking me for more!” “Shut up moron!” A girl from the gang said. She’s an archer. The other three members are a warrior, acolyte and a merchant. “Can we beat them if we pvp with them?” Danny asked his friends. “Well, all of the people that are at first job except for the rogue.” Josh answered back. “He’s the only one we need to worry about.” “I wish Matt was here.” Danny muttered. “He can take on the rogue head on. He loves a challenge.” “Well Matt is not here so let’s worry about how to take them on!” Sally said. “Well it’s going to be a fair fight since it’s five against five.” Josh said. “No. I’m not letting Sally fight. She’s too young.” Danny said. “I’m thirteen!” Sally protested. “And I’m sixteen” Danny said. “I’m still older and you are my responsibility!” Sally gave up and said, “Fine! Guys go fight them!” The rogue didn’t wait for the team to decide, ordered the archer to fire arrows at them. Millions of arrows came flying at them. Everyone dodged and landed on their feet perfectly. “What the hell?” Josh said. “Is everyone okay?” Alice asked. “Let’s show them, guys!” Danny said. “Alice back all of us up with heal! Josh, you and the archer has a date. Sarah can take out their acolyte. I’ll take on the rogue!” “Sally will take on the merchant!” Sally added for herself. Before anyone could say another word, a battle broke out between the two teams, with the couple watching from a distant. The rogue quickly went and grabbed Sally. “Hey! Let me go!” Sally protested. “Shut up!” the rogue said. “This battle is boring. Let’s just end it here. If any of you morons dare to move, I’ll kill her.” “This little girl can make a nice gift for him!” the archer suggested. “Well you know what? You are right! He will.” The rogue smiled. “I guess we are keeping her then.” Then all of them quickly disappeared with Sally. “Hey! Give her back to me!” Danny said. “Leave my cousin alone!” “Who’s ‘him’?” Josh asked. “Doesn’t matter!” Danny said. “I need to get her back. I promised my mother before she died that I will protect Sally, even if I have to lose my own life!” “I’m sorry…” the guy said as he approached Danny. “You bastard!” Danny cried out with tears in his eyes. “It’s all your fault! We should have just let you and your girl die!” After saying that, Danny left. “I’m sure he didn’t mean that.” Alice quickly said. “I understand how he feels.” The girl answered. “We would like to help.” “Don’t worry about it.” Sarah said. “Just go home and stay out of trouble.” “Danny waits up!” Josh called out. The rest of the members of the team quickly followed Danny into a forest. Suppressed by anger, Danny didn’t stop for his friends. He kept going on, in hope to find that rogue, and this time he swears to kill him. With so much going on at once, none of the members of the team realize that they were not just in any kind of forest; they are in the forest of eternal darkness. There, is where their journey truly begins. To be continue… |
